Taking the GO Train to the Falls Is Faster and Easier Than Driving

There are so many great reasons for taking the GO Train from Toronto to Niagara Falls. In addition to being safe, convenient, and affordable, it’s also a relatively short journey, so it’s not nearly as exhausting as driving. Plus, you don’t have to worry about parking!

Go Transit has a very scenic and lovely way to get from Oshawa/Toronto/Oakville/Burlington without a car!

Bikes travel free and are very welcome on the trains, with special bicycle cars and double decker trains the views are spectacular.

You can get off at St. Catharines Via Station and cruise a 50 min/15km ride to VinoVelo through lush vine lands and country roads. Or, You can get off at Niagara Falls and take the Niagara Parkway route down to Niagara on the Lake, about an hour (20 kms)

Try both? Arrive via St. Catharines, and leave via Niagara Falls, it’s all up to You.

There are a couple of trains in the morning, and a couple in the evening. You can get all the info, and even pre-buy tickets online at Go Transit.

It is possible to leave Union Station at 845 am, do a tour in Niagara, and be back at union station at 9pm! All just with a bicycle.. and a little Go Train 😉
